The Executive Director of The Young Men’s Squire League, DeShazer, is living proof of the impact of structured leadership development. Raised without a father, his early years were filled with uncertainty and poor decision-making, as he struggled to navigate life without proper guidance.

Everything changed when his mother remarried. Though his stepfather was inexperienced in raising children, he took the initiative to enroll him in a leadership program called Royal Rangers at a Church in Gainesville, GA.

Through this program, he learned essential leadership skills, survival training, and discipline, but most importantly, he gained the confidence and guidance he needed to become a strong, responsible young man.

That experience shaped his future, giving him the tools, mentorship, and support system necessary to walk a new path—one that led him to becoming a leader himself.

The Young Men’s Squire League has been created to offer young men the same opportunity for growth, mentorship, and leadership development that changed DeShazer’s life. This program provides young men with:
