2026 STSA SWIM-A-THON

We’re excited to announce our 2026 STSA Swim-a-thon, a fun team event and one of our most important fundraisers of the year!

When: March 21, 2026

Gold Team: 8:00 AM
Bronze & Silver Teams: 10:15 AM

Who: All members of the STSA Swim Team
Where: STSA Pool

💦What is the STSA Swim-A-Thon?

The Swim-a-thon is a fundraiser where swimmers collect donations and then swim a set number of laps during the event. Donors may pledge a flat amount or support the swimmer’s effort by the amount of laps swam.

For this event, STSA coaches have created individual lap goals for each swimmer based on their age and ability level. Swimmers will work toward reaching their assigned lap goal during the Swim-a-thon.

Each swimmer is expected to raise a minimum of $200 to support both their swimming journey and the STSA pool.

💙 How the Funds Are Used

The STSA Swim-a-thon is a great way to raise money for both the swimmer and the association.

Funds raised will be split as follows:

25% will be applied toward the swimmer’s monthly dues (up to one year)
75% will go back into the pool for maintenance and upkeep

If a swimmer raises more than the cost of one year of monthly dues, the remaining funds will be directed back to the pool.

You will be asked to create a login. The name you use for your login will appear on the fundraising campaign. We recommend using:

Your swimmer’s name
A family name
Or a combined list of swimmer names

📌 Multiple Swimmers:
If you would like a separate fundraising page for each swimmer in your family, you will need to create separate logins.

If you need to update your page name after creating your login, you may do so online or contact Givebutter support at support@givebutter.com.

📣 Sharing Your Fundraising Page

Once logged in, Givebutter provides a short tutorial on how to navigate the website.

Click “Edit My Page” to customize your swimmer’s fundraising page
Use the “Share My Page” link to send your page to family and friends and help support your swimmer’s Swim-a-thon efforts

⏰Donation Deadline

All donations are due by April 11, 2026.
