This holiday season, the Sacred Valley Project is celebrating what becomes possible when women uplift women.

Our goal is to raise $27,000; enough to welcome 10 additional girls into the Sacred Valley Project next year.

For girls growing up in remote Indigenous communities in the Peruvian Andes, continuing their education can be incredibly difficult. Even girls who love learning and dream of continuing their education may have no safe or realistic way to do so.

The Sacred Valley Project helps bridge that gap.

Each year, we provide Indigenous girls from remote communities with the comprehensive support they need to attend and complete secondary school, including:

A safe and nurturing place to live near school
Nutritious meals and snacks
Daily academic tutoring
Healthcare and psychological support
Mentorship, leadership development, and life-skills workshops
A community of women who believe in their abilities and encourage their goals

It costs approximately $2,700 to support one student for an entire school year. By raising $27,000, we can open our doors to 10 more girls and give each one the opportunity to learn, grow, and begin building a future of her own.

A Gift That Connects Generations of Women

This year’s campaign is especially meaningful because it brings together women across Peru and around the world.

As a thank you, donors who give $100 or more will receive a special 200-gram bag of Florencia y Fortunata specialty coffee, while supplies last.

Florencia y Fortunata is a women-led social enterprise in Cusco working to make women’s contributions to specialty coffee more visible and close the gender gap within the coffee industry. Its coffee is produced by women in Peru with a commitment to transparency, traceability, and creating greater opportunity for women coffee producers.

The connection is also deeply personal to the Sacred Valley Project: SVP graduates have had the opportunity to work with and learn from the café’s owner, gaining valuable professional experience and seeing firsthand what women’s leadership and entrepreneurship can look like.

From the women who grow and produce the coffee, to the women who bring it to market, to the graduates beginning their careers, to the girls preparing for their futures, each bag represents a circle of women investing in one another.
