What is Garden Of?

Garden Of is a queer collective located in Chicago, Illinois. Here at Garden Of we celebrate all things and all humans under the Sapphic umbrella! We believe Queer community is holy, and the intention of all of our events from the wildest parties to the calmest of lake nights is to connect you with your chosen family. In 2025 we opened a coworking and artist studio in Ravenswood, and are constantly striving to provide accessible programming and spaces for the queer community of Chicago. In March 2026 we made our Queer Coworking studio FREE! We are so excited to have this safe space be accessible to anyone who needs it. However, as you can imagine, this costs us a pretty penny on the back end to make possible!

When we launched the studio in August 2025 we were lucky enough to fundraise to get it off the ground, but much like with all community work, the costs always continue! We are continually fundraising to keep covering rent, food, drink, utilities, etc.

Whether you're an ally or a member of the LGBTQIA+ community in Chicago or beyond, we would love your help fundraising to cover our continued costs. We are so excited to continue our first year and begin our second as Chicago's queer Coworking and Art studio! Thank you, always, for your support. What are we fundraising for?

Our studio has now been open since August 2025! Our initial fundraising profits were put towards getting the space off the ground. We have since made the coworking space free of charge during the day, which is what remaining fundraising gets put towards when it comes in! All donations are put towards the space, as well as keeping costs low or free for attendees. When we have excess funds, we use them to cover BIPOC or community tickets so our queer family can attend free of charge!
