BandFest 2025 is back and we are excited to bring you more autonomous music from existing and upcoming Bangla bands of the Bay Area. Please earmark September 6th , 2025 (Saturday) between 3:00pm and 10:00pm and be a part of this muical bonanza.

Bandfest 2025 will continue to operate on the same principles with which it was started, viz,

Will continue to be a FREE event for all to enjoy the local bands.
Will continue to foster creativity and create a fraternity for musicians to collaborate
Will continue to provide an outdoor college fest like ambience with vendor stalls , food and quality music.

About SAAMPAN

The Bay area based bangla rock band , Saampan, has its roots for the last 20 years. Formed in 2005, Saampan evangelizes contemporary Bangla gaan -- from the footsteps of Mohineer Ghoraguli, Cactus, Fossils,Chandrabindoo, Anjan Dutta down to the modern day bands like Prithibi, Fakira and the songs of Anupam Roy.

The band has had numerous shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and has been performing in NABC few times too. The band also featured in a television show during the World Music Festival.

In real life, the band members are fun loving tech professionals with a passion for music as anyone else.
