At Food For All Services (FFA), we believe food is more than fuel, it is memory, identity, and healing.

Right now, many immigrant families in Maine are staying home due to increased enforcement activity and fear of moving through public spaces. Parents, elders, and children are limiting outings, making it harder to access food and basic necessities. In response, FFA has returned to one of our earliest models from the COVID-19 pandemic: delivering culturally rooted, Halal food directly to families’ homes.

In just three days, more than 100 volunteers helped us deliver food to over 300 families. This rapid response shows the strength of our community and also the growing need for sustained support. Home food delivery requires resources for food, transportation, coordination, and volunteer care to remain safe, dignified, and consistent.
