I spent several years in the early 1970’s accompanying his classes at the AACM, and many concert performances and Dance Drama productions in the Bay Area. He was my teacher, mentor, close friend, and elder brother. I miss him dearly and cherish the memories of an amazing era. My wish and hope is for the Chitresh Das Institute to continue for many generations into the future.

Celine Ray, this is Celine, I was Chitreshji's wife. In fact, he and I visited you in Woodstock, I think it was around 1999. He loved you so much and I remember we had such a lovely time together. Your support means so much and our intention is exactly what you said, to ensure that future generatios have access to what Chitreshji taught and gave because it is so precious.
