Our mission is to help families seeking stable housing in the South Bay achieve sustainable independence through a community-based approach. We empower homeless families by providing shelter, prevention, and stabilization services in a supportive, community-based environment. We envision a community where every family has a stable home, a secure livelihood, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. Our goal is to be a leading resource in the South Bay, breaking the cycles of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence while fostering resilience and empowering families to achieve lasting self-sufficiency.

The Need

Family homelessness is a critical issue in the Los Angeles County, where too many families face the devastating reality of living without a stable home. The challenges of securing affordable housing, coupled with economic instability, create a precarious situation where even a small financial setback can lead to homelessness. Family Promise of Los Angeles is dedicated to addressing this crisis through a comprehensive, community-based approach that not only provides immediate relief but also paves the way for sustainable independence. The need for Family Promise of Los Angeles' programs is urgent and growing. As the housing crisis deepens, more families are at risk of losing their homes and the stability that comes with them. With the support of grants and donors, we can expand our services, reach more families in need, and make our vision of a community where every family has a home and the opportunity to build a better future a reality.
