Support Our Shoot for Scholarships Fundraiser

At the Hockomock Area YMCA, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and play through our sports programs. Our Shoot for Scholarships initiative empowers children in our sports classes and leagues to give back by shooting free throws to raise funds for the YMCA’s Reach Out Campaign.

In 2024, Reach Out provided scholarships to 378 young sports participants, giving them access to enriching experiences they might not have had otherwise. With your help, we can extend this opportunity to even more kids in our community.

How can you help?
We invite families to join the cause by creating a fundraising page for your child. Setting up a page is quick and easy! Click join a team to sign up for your branch! Share your child’s fundraising page with friends and family via text, social media, email, or more to gather support as they shoot free throws for a great cause. Every dollar raised helps provide scholarships to kids who need them most.

Here's how your generosity can make an impact:

$25 provides 1 month of youth membership.
$50 sponsors a child for 1 month of sports programming.
$100 enables a child to join one of our league seasons.
$250 funds 1 week of sports camp where kids can build skills like teamwork and confidence.
