Get Together Foundation’s “Show of Helping Hands” Relief Concert for Victims of the Los Angeles Wildfires – a Huge Success, and Donations Continue to Come In

Monday, February 3, 2025, Los Angeles, CA – In reaction to the devastating situation that Los Angeles has been experiencing with the wildfires, the Get Together Foundation in cooperation with Rock Cellar Productions is making a difference. The fire relief concert, “Show of Helping Hands,” that took place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at The Canyon in Agoura Hills, CA raised thousands of dollars which are going to immediately help those in need. LA-based musicians joined together for an evening of live music and more in support of this worthy cause. Hosted by LA’s own Rita Wilde, the line-up featured: Micky Dolenz, Laurence Juber (Wings) & AIRFOIL, Jeff Alan Ross (Peter Asher, The Lovin’ Spoonful), Strawberry Alarm Clock, Steve Porcaro (Toto), Carl Verheyen Band, Bernard Fowler (The Rolling Stones), Rob Morrow, Rosemary Butler, Steve Postell (The Immediate Family), Phil LoPresti (Billy Gibbons), Alisan Porter (winner of The Voice), Freebo & Alice Howe, Brooke White (American Idol), The Delgado Brothers, Kevin Cordasco, John Pratt, The Tribe, spoken word artist Stephen Kalinich & more.

Angelinos came out on a Tuesday night to help others in this extreme time of need. 100% of the proceeds raised will continue to go to the cause. Donations are benefiting the Guitar Center Music Foundation, helping replace musical instruments lost in the fires so that professional musicians can get back to work, the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association, and other such organizations that will put the money to immediate use. The show was live streamed on AlertTheGlobe.com, and the archive may be seen on Alert the Globe’s Facebook page.

The Get Together Foundation is an LA-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to action since 2001. GTF has a significant history producing benefit concerts for various causes including a live streamed telethon for COVID 19 crisis relief in 2020 (for the LA Mayor’s Fund) and a Concert for Ukraine in 2023. Their valued partnerships, which include Hope the Mission, The Midnight Mission, and other such agencies, help provide a greater continuum of care to the community.
