Somewhere Under the Rainbow Collective (SURC) is a new kind of therapy private practice that focuses on the importance of lived experience. A 100% disabled owned and run practice, SURC provides quality telehealth care using a sliding scale. SURC was built on the need for the Mental Health Industry to be more accessible, both to clients and providers. Who will receive these funds? Mutual Aid funds will be used to create discounted rates for those who need it and to cover active SURC clients in times of financial hardship. Clients who face living with multiple marginalizations in society who are also facing financial hardship will be prioritized for funds. Extra funds may be used to hire administrative support to run the eventual mutual aid shop.
