My name is Sophia Sorensen and I am a 16 year old athlete proudly training and competing in the USA Luge program and this year will be part of Junior National team.

I’m reaching out to share my journey and ask for your support as I continue to pursue my dream of representing Team USA in the international stage.

Luge is one of the fastest and most demanding sports in the Winter Olympics that requires precision, courage, and dedication. During the season I train both on and off the track pushing myself physically and mentally to improve my performance to help me compete at the high level. Balancing school, travel, and intensive training has been challenging but my commitment to this sport keeps me going.

As a developing athlete many of the expenses associated with training and competition are not covered. Costs such as travel to training facilities, specialized equipment, coaching, and housing quickly add up. To continue progressing and competing nationally and internationally I am seeking financial support from generous individuals and organizations who believe in helping young athletes reach their potential.

Your contribution would directly support my training, equipment, and competition expenses and allow me to focus on improving my performance and representing my team. No amount is too small and every bit of support makes a meaningful difference in my journey.
