💧 The Challenge

We’ve been awarded a challenge grant from the Bolger Foundation—but there’s a catch:

👉 We must raise $100,000 to unlock the $48,000 in funding, necessary to complete the project.

This is our moment to come together and restore a vital part of the New Jersey School of Conservation experience.

🏕️ Why This Matters

For decades, the NJ School of Conservation has been a place where students connect with nature, build confidence, and experience the outdoors in meaningful ways.

But for the past 5+ years, the South Hill Bathhouse—which serves Cabins 1–6—has been unusable due to severe deterioration.

Without it:

Students and campers must share one bathhouse for the entire campus
Some students and campers walk up to 20 minutes to access basic facilities
Capacity is limited, impacting programs and access

This isn’t just inconvenient—it affects safety, accessibility, and the quality of every camper’s experience.

🚿 Modern showers, sinks, and toilets
♿ ADA-compliant facilities for inclusive access
⚡ Updated plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
🏠 A new roof and structural improvements
🌿 Improved drainage and surrounding landscape

Safely serve more students and groups
Reopen Cabins 1–6 to full use
Preserve a historic Civilian Conservation Corps structure
