This year marks a monumental milestone for Spark FM, Boston’s first Black-woman-owned digital radio station, as it celebrates five years of amplifying urban and Caribbean voices with a powerful blend of music, culture, and community.

Founded in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, Spark FM rose from uncertainty to become one of the city’s most influential platforms for Black and Brown creatives, entrepreneurs, and audiences. With a growing media center, dynamic radio programming, and youth development programs under its belt, Spark FM is celebrating five years strong — and setting the stage for the next chapter.

To honor this journey, Spark FM is proud to announce an ambitious fundraising campaign to continue growing and serving the community.
