This is such a great event to combine two things that are dear to me… running and the YMCA. I am grateful to be an employee of the YMCA and to have the opportunity to help so many people in our community as well as our surrounding communities.
I always knew the YMCA was a great place. When my children were younger we were involved in many of the programs available. We were frequent visitors and I always felt so welcome. As the years went on, I came to realize just how special the YMCA was and their impact on our community. Now, being an employee, I am in awe of the compassion and constant willingness the YMCA has to help others and make our community a better place for all. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people at the YMCA. So please join us in running or consider donating to this great event! Thank you!!
