Join us for the inaugural Spotlight Arts Festival, a community celebration shining a light on the local partners, artists, and organizations that make our community thrive.

Enjoy an afternoon of 15-minute showcase performances from local performing arts groups, participate in a live painting, and get hands-on at the ArtTrek Creation Station. DJ Uncle Alex will be spinning vinyl in the Fred Kavli Theatre lobby, and local artists will have stations throughout the festival — stop by to chat, commission a piece, hire them for your next project, or simply get to know artists and their work. The Thousand Oaks Library will be on-site with an outpost, and Fogo de Chão is serving up food for the day.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, admission to the festival is completely free. If you'd like to make an optional donation during registration, your gift helps TOArts bring inspiring arts experiences to our community year-round, including arts education for local students, free community events, and opportunities for artists to create and share their work. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.

TOArts is the nonprofit fundraising and presenting partner of the Bank of America Performing Arts Center (BAPAC) in Thousand Oaks, California.

TOArts’ core programs are:

TOArts Presents: offers a steady stream of culturally diverse, world-class entertainment in the crown jewel of Ventura County. From headline concerts to National Geographic speakers, comedians to folk music, there’s a TOArts Presents show for everyone.
Kids and the Arts: support arts exposure inside and outside of schools, and instills a connection to theatre in local youth by providing free tickets and transportation for students to enjoy live performances at BAPAC. Last school year, we brought over 6,800 students into the theatre to enjoy performances completely for free!
Dr. Raymond M. Olson Performing Grants: supports the dreams of local artists by subsidizing the cost of renting the theatre for local nonprofit performing arts groups.
AccessArts: supporting local school districts to provide equal access to high-quality sequential arts education to elementary schools.
Workforce Development: the Youth Arts Leadership Academy (YALA) and Creators Conservatory are programs aimed at developing well-rounded students and multi-hyphenate artists by providing basic life skills training and exploring various disciplines in the arts alongside top industry professionals. The Artist Incubator offers one-year of professional development for artists by connecting them with professional advisors, other artists and creatives to launch, solidify, or re-define their careers in the arts, with a focus on creative generation, financial sustainability, and entrepreneurial growth.
