Bright Prospect is an organization that empowers students from low-income backgrounds to attend and graduate from college. Many of these students are the first in their families to pursue higher education, and they do so with incredible determination and grit. I’ve seen firsthand how Bright Prospect changes lives—providing mentorship, academic support, and a strong community that believes in the power of education. But college comes with many costs, and even with financial aid, students often struggle to cover essentials like textbooks, housing deposits, and transportation.
