When we found Apollo on Skid Row in downtown LA, he was barely holding on. Used for breeding, passed from person to person, and left to survive in brutal heat with severe allergies, a limp, and labored breathing — he was sick, exhausted, and in pain.

But thanks to the compassion of a foster, proper vet care, medication, and some much-needed rest in the AC, Apollo is now thriving. He's healthy, neutered, and ready for his forever home.

Rescuing dogs like Apollo is deeply rewarding, but it's also expensive. On average, each dog we take in costs around $600 — sometimes less, but often much more depending on medical or behavioral needs.

Right now, we know of several dogs living in desperate conditions who are waiting for help. We have the foster homes ready — what we need are the funds to say yes to saving them.

We're aiming to raise $1,200 to cover the costs of rescuing and rehabilitating two more dogs. This will go directly toward vet care, spay/neuter, medications, and supplies.

Our rescue operates without large donors, grants, or consistent funding. We rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of people like you — people who believe that every dog deserves a chance.

P.S. the 2 dogs we are trying to save are Mazzy & Milo's sisters! Mazzy & Milo were rescued by us and then adopted into wonderful forever homes. There are 4 dogs left waiting to be saved (siblings & the mom). We hope to eventually save them all if we get enough fosters and donations <3
