🏠 Help Transform a Former Hotel into the Treasure Coast’s First Veterans Village

Every Veteran deserves a safe place to call home.

Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. (TCHSC) is raising $500,000 to renovate a former hotel off US-1 in Fort Pierce into The Veterans Village. In collaboration with the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, this is a first-of-its-kind shelter and transitional housing space in St. Lucie County dedicated exclusively to Veterans experiencing homelessness.

This project will transform an unused property into a place of healing and stability for those who served our country. Once complete, Veterans Village will offer:

Safe, stable housing for Veterans in need of immediate shelter
Wraparound case management and support services to help residents rebuild their lives
On-site VA-supported services and connections to employment, healthcare, and permanent housing opportunities
A community-driven solution created through collaboration and compassion

This is more than a renovation, it’s a transformation. By reimagining this space, we’re giving our local heroes a chance to rest, recover, and reconnect with the community they proudly served.

Your support will directly fund the renovation and build-out of critical facilities like bedrooms, bathrooms, a communal kitchen, and on-site support spaces. Together, we can make Veterans Village a beacon of stability and hope in the heart of St. Lucie County.

💛 Join us in honoring those who served by helping us build a place they can finally call home.
