The 10th Annual Stand Up for MORE Comedy Night returns on Friday, April 24th at the beautiful El Dorado County Fairgrounds, bringing our community together for an unforgettable evening of comedy, connection, and impact. This high-energy fundraiser benefits Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises (MORE) and the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce. It’s so much more than just a comedy show.

The evening kicks off as doors open at 5:00pm, giving guests time to mingle, grab a drink, browse our raffle prizes, and try their luck at our wildly popular Lucky Liquor Game. Dinner is served at 6:15pm, catered by John Sanders of Old Town Grill, and then at 7:00pm the spotlight hits the stage for a full lineup of professional comedy.

Hosting the evening is comedy legend Scott Edwards, the visionary who brought stand-up comedy to Northern California and owned the iconic Laughs Unlimited for more than two decades. Having worked with comedy greats like Jay Leno, Dana Carvey, and Jerry Seinfeld, Scott brings unmatched energy, quick wit, and a guarantee of big laughs. This is professional, polished, laugh-out-loud entertainment right here in our own community.

Proceeds from the evening go directly toward supporting all of the client-driven programs we provide to the people we serve at MORE. These programs are designed around individual interests, goals, and abilities, empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build skills, confidence, independence, friendships, and meaningful community connections.
