In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Volare and Slow Girls Run Club have teamed up to host a donation walk/run to raise money for Volare's free trauma-informed survivor support services!

Join as an individual or on a team. If your team raises the most before or at the event, you could be entered to win exciting prizes!

The Details:
Date: Saturday, October 18th
Location: Union Market

We will start to gather at 9am at Union Market and begin the event at 9:30. The running route will be approximately 3 miles long and the walking route will be approximately 1.5 miles.
Choose to run or walk, this event is open to EVERYONE and to all pace ranges!

About Volare:
Donations go directly to Volare's survivor support services. We offer free, trauma-informed, and holistic advocacy, legal, and therapeutic services to survivors of any type of crime in DC. Volare also co-runs DC's Sexual Assault Crisis Response Program. We also engage in outreach and education with the community!

Volare is an open door to any survivor, of any crime. We advocate for equity in victimization services, believing every survivor deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Volare provides a holistic approach to restoration and healing—both for the individual and the systems that failed them.
