Anything Can Happen on Colfax

Colfax Avenue is entering a bold new chapter. After years of disruption from Bus Rapid Transit construction, the Colfax Culture & Community Collab — a partnership between the Colfax Ave BID, Bluebird BID, and local stakeholders — is leading a long-term creative revitalization of Denver's most iconic corridor. Through a multi-season lineup that includes the Colfax Ave Indie Bash, the Colfax Art Underground open-air art walk featuring original art panels and an interactive digital map, ongoing "Anything Can Happen on Colfax" pop-ups, and month-long artist takeovers of vacant storefronts, the initiative is reconnecting residents, visitors, and 212+ partner businesses with the street's creative energy. More than just recovery, the effort aims to reposition Colfax in the public imagination — transforming it from a place people route around into a full-evening dining, arts, and entertainment destination that embraces its own colorful mythology.
