For 36 years, BirdsCaribbean has stood by one powerful mission: protecting the beautiful and unique birds of the Caribbean by empowering the people dedicated to their preservation.

Birds aren’t just stunning creatures that fill our skies with brilliant color and melodious songs—they play vital roles in pollination, pest control, ecotourism, nutrient cycling, and ecosystem health. Birds are essential for a healthy world, yet their future is at risk.

Across the Caribbean, our birds face growing threats, from habitat loss and pollution to hunting, illegal trapping, and climate change. These challenges endanger iconic Caribbean species like todies, parrots, and hummingbirds, as well as magnificent migratory birds like the Piping Plover and Prairie Warbler.

We need your help to change this. More than ever, birds and the communities that rely on them need us to come together to protect them. Together we can apply sound science, equip local conservationists with knowledge and resources, and work for lasting change.
