My name is Sydney Petrocelli, and I have a family connection to the community surrounding Olenguruone Secondary School in Kenya's Rift Valley. More than a year ago, I visited the school and met the students and teachers firsthand. What I saw stayed with me.

The school has real needs — the most urgent being two classrooms that need to become functioning science labs, and a deteriorating asbestos roof that is a daily health risk. The school's own community rallied and raised over $2,600. They are committed. They just need help crossing the finish line.

I'm a student fundraising for students — because every child deserves to actually do science, not just read about it. 100% of funds go to the school, managed through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
