We are a group of high school students who believe every student — no matter where they live — deserves to actually do science, not just read about it.

Our campaign started with one of us. Sydney Petrocelli visited Olenguruone Secondary School in Kenya's Rift Valley over a year ago through a family connection. She met the students and teachers firsthand — and what she saw, she couldn't unsee. She came home and told us. And we decided to do something about it together.

The school has two urgent needs:

🔬 Two classrooms ready to be converted into working science labs

🏫 A deteriorating asbestos roof that is a daily health risk to every student and teacher inside

The school community in Kenya already rallied and raised over $2,600 on their own. They showed up. Now we're showing up for them.

We are students fundraising for students. Every dollar is managed through a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and goes directly to the school. No shortcuts. Full accountability.
