Help Suki Walk Into a Better Future

At just 1.5 years old, Suki should be enjoying life like any young dog—running, playing, and soaking up every bit of love and joy she can. Instead, this sweet lab/pit mix has already endured hardship, pain, and uncertainty.

Suki was found as a stray in Serenbe before a compassionate family stepped in to rescue her. They took her in, got her vetted, and gave her the safety she deserved. But it soon became clear that Suki was carrying more than just the emotional scars of being abandoned. She is also living with a serious hip injury, likely the result of trauma before she was found, possibly from being hit by a car.

Now, Suki needs hip surgery to help relieve her pain and give her the chance at the healthy, happy life every dog deserves.

Her surgery is estimated to cost $900, and while that amount may seem small compared to some medical needs, it is still significant for NCHS given the number of dogs and puppies currently in our care.
