La’Aretz Foundation is committed to facing today’s challenges and tomorrow’s uncertainties in Israel by providing direct assistance to those in need.

La’Aretz Foundation provides direct assistance to families who lack government support. Our ongoing support assists families that strive to rebuild their lives, a crucial step to making our impact longlasting. The financial aid program is vital, especially after the tragedy of October 7th. We provide relief in several types of circumstances, which enables families to take their time to make the proper long-term decisions in their next chapter.

La’Aretz has touched hundreds of hearts to date, and we are hopeful to support many more families in the future. Families use our donations for essential needs, such as purchasing food, furnishing temporary homes, covering mental health support and childcare costs, paying bills, and honoring the memories of loved ones who they have lost.

They are grateful not only for the financial support, but also for knowing that a caring community stands with them. They are not alone in coping with the horrific reality they have faced since October 7th.

Through close collaboration with our partners, we are able to identify the families who receive aid based on specific criteria that La’Aretz Foundation has defined. Our partners include the Heads of: Mevo’ot HaHermon Regional Council, Sdot Negev Regional Council, Eshkol Regional Council, the Social Services Department at Hadassah Rehabilitation Center, and an Executive Director of the Tribe of Nova Foundation.

Rebecca, a single mother, lost her only daughter on October 7th. Now, she not only faces the unimaginable grief of losing her child but also the financial burden, as her daughter was her sole support.

Mia Regev, who was kidnapped and is now undergoing rehabilitation, relies on her father for care, significantly affecting his income which led them to seek assistance. Noam, an injured reservist with two children, also faces a challenging recovery.

Sivan’s world shattered on October 7th, losing her brother, husband, and nephew all in one day. She now faces the heartbreak and uncertainty of rebuilding her life.
