What you need is Yaysh! ("We've got this!")

Yaysh is a volunteer-led Jewish education, engagement, and leadership incubator that enables cohorts of mothers to participate in Momentum's Year-Long Journey for moms. We build circles of women who learn together, laugh together, and support each other through a Year of Growth. These circles foster the Jewish value of unity, without uniformity. Women become inspired, and each of them gives back to the Jewish community in her own way.

We intentionally build partnerships within our community—connecting to synagogues, community groups, and Jewish institutions. The women from our circles give back to our partners and help to strengthen them. Our vision is to provide YEARS of Growth—for non-trip participants as well—for doing more “Jewish.” We are, essentially, the greater Hartford Jewish Community’s Booster club.

Our Goals Focus on:

Directing and managing the Momentum Year-Long Journey

Being the conduit for Momentum participants and the community to meet one another and broaden relationships
Providing wildly engaging opportunities to “Do Jewish”
