From a Single Spark: Uncovering the Unfiltered Reality of Survivorship

The "Survivor Series with Talaya Dendy" began with a single, heartfelt conversation. During National Cancer Survivor Month, I hosted a special podcast episode and live panel that received wide praise and an outpouring of requests for more of these much-needed discussions. It is a space called Navigating Cancer TOGETHER, and it proved there was a vital need for a space where survivors could share the unfiltered realities of life beyond cancer, a need that wasn't being met. This series is the direct result of that demand.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide critical, empathetic, and widely accessible psychosocial support and community for individuals going through the often-overlooked post-treatment survivorship journey. By demystifying the complex realities of survivorship and fostering honest, raw discussions, the series directly addresses the intense isolation, confusion, uncertainty, and identity shifts that survivors often face after treatment ends. It aims to create a therapeutic space for a global community to navigate long-term challenges, find renewed purpose, and build authentic connections.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every cancer survivor's unique journey is seen, heard, and valued. We are building a vibrant, empathetic community that moves beyond conventional narratives of forced positivity or pity. The "Survivor Series" fills a critical gap in psychosocial support by using dynamic, engaging, and highly accessible multimedia storytelling to significantly reduce isolation and uplift countless individuals navigating life beyond cancer. We will make NOT talking about the realities of survivorship taboo. We will achieve this with the help of supporters like you.
