Sr. Lucy turns 70 on 10 September 2025! She is doing well and is busier than ever with Maher’s 72 homes and 1,000+ village self-help groups in seven Indian states. Now in our 28^th year, the Board of Trustees and I are happy to report that Maher is running smoothly. Heartfelt gratitude and blessings to all of you who make this work possible.

As her 70^th birthday approaches, Sr. Lucy has a special wish. Instead of personal gifts, such as flowers and sarees, she would appreciate donations to Maher’s Corpus Fund (Reserve Fund). A birthday gift to the Corpus Fund will help ensure Maher’s work continues long into future.

Sr. Lucy has dedicated her life to humanity, social work, and bringing positive change to the lives of the less fortunate. We are moved by her love for Maher and her selfless desire to grow our Corpus Fund. It is a wonderful expression of her compassion and generosity and her long-standing dream that all have the opportunity for a decent life, dignity, and happiness.
