We have secured 360 acres of farmland in South Burlington, ensuring its future for regenerative agriculture in perpetuity. Now, we need capacity funds to steward the land and establish a thriving agroforestry system that will boost food production and enhance climate resilience for our local community.

Nestled within a 2,000-acre conservation block near Shelburne Pond, this next phase is essential for cultivating a sustainable future for farmers and strengthening long-term food security in Vermont.

TAC is part of a powerful movement in national food systems that empowers farmers as community land stewards, promotes regenerative practices, and increases access to land and food. We offer a Vermont-sized model for this vital change.

Public Recreational Trails: Up to 17 miles of scenic trails connecting to a multi-city system, making nature accessible through public transit.
Educational Programs: Year-round, hands-on learning for hundreds of students, nurturing the next generation of farmers and environmental stewards.
Local Food Access: Expanding farm-to-table options for over 15,000 people annually through retail, CSA programs, and on-farm events in collaboration with 30 local farms.
Agroforestry Initiatives: Planting 100,000 trees to create diverse tree-based pastures and a pick-your-own orchard, building one of the largest agroforestry systems in the Northeast.
