For over thirty years, Treatment Action Group (TAG) has influenced public policy and increased resources for fighting HIV and its two leading co-infections, tuberculosis (TB) and viral hepatitis (HCV). Based in New York City, TAG catalyzes collective action by affected communities, scientists, and policymakers to improve the lives of all people affected by HIV, TB, or HCV — especially BIPOC and other marginalized groups. Across all our programs, TAG ensures equitable access to life-saving interventions, while creating better informed communities with increased connection to research and the benefits of science. TAG connects people to power, creating opportunities for representation of marginalized voices in public health efforts.
