Thank You for Supporting The Alex Manfull Fund 5K!

To everyone who participated in this year’s “36 Hours in DC”—and to those who’ve joined us over the past two years—THANK YOU! Your presence, enthusiasm, and generosity have been instrumental in raising awareness about PANDAS/PANS, a frequently misunderstood and underdiagnosed autoimmune disorder that tragically took the life of my daughter Alex Manfull at just 26 years old.

Because of you, we’ve been able to share widely Alex’s story, shine a light on the critical importance of early diagnosis and treatment, and support advocacy and research for those impacted by this devastating condition.

In a year that has been extraordinarily challenging for nonprofits to raise funds, your support has been nothing short of extraordinary. With registration fees from more than 250 5K runners/walkers, perservering donor teams, multiple sponsorships, and generous direct donations, we have raised over $77,000! In addition, participants from 25 states took part in NAPPA's Advocacy Days (April 10 and 11).

Together, we’ve already made significant strides.

Supporting new PANDAS/PANS fellowships, The Alex Manfull Neuroimmune Psychiatry Program Fund, at Dartmouth Medical Center and The Alex Manfull PANDAS/PANS Fellowship Fund at Georgetown University Medical Center
Sustaining the “PANDAS/PANS and Other Neuroimmune Disorders” (POND) Brain Bank at Georgetown University.

Together, we are driving change in PANDAS/PANS research and health care and honoring Alex’s legacy in powerful ways.
