I am raising awareness for PANDAS/PANS—an often-overlooked autoimmune disorder that claimed the life of Alex Manfull, at just 26 years old. Your support is important for sharing Alex’s story and amplifing the importance of early diagnosis and treatment, and changing the trajectory for those affected by this challenging disorder by supporting research.
This is my third year helping to organize Capitol Hill Day along with The Alex Manfull Fund. We’re incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we received last year – it truly made a difference! With over 300 runners, 90 participants in Advocacy Day, and a remarkable $104,000 raised, your contributions helped The Alex Manfull Fund make great strides forward.
These donations provided funding to a major PANDAS/PANS-related research project at Massachusetts General Hospital, allocated funds for a PANDAS/PANS fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and were able to continue to support the “PANDAS/PANS and Other Neuroimmune Disorders” (POND) Brain Bank at Georgetown University.
