For 26 years, TBEY Arts Center, Inc. has been a creative home for thousands of young people across Southeastern Wisconsin. Founded by Contessa Cole at just 16 years old in response to arts program cuts in local schools, TBEY began as a small dream to give youth a safe place to express themselves. Today, that dream has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit featured on the TODAY Show, serving more than 20,000 young people through the transformative power of the arts.

TBEY provides youth—many from underserved neighborhoods—opportunities to discover their talents and voices through dance, theatre, music, and visual arts. Our programs, including ASAP (After-School Arts Program), TBEY Tiny’s, Summer Exploring Arts Camp, Productions & Exhibitions, ArtReach, and our new Corporate ArtFull Teams Workshops, encourage creativity, confidence, and community connection.
