Every $3,000 raised keeps a Veteran off the streets.

Every $6,000 raised gets a Veteran safely housed.

Consider helping us reach out goal of $60,000 to help secure safe and affordable housing for 10 Veterans facing homelessness in your local community. When they signed up for service, they offered to give us their all, now it's our turn to stand up for them.

Veterans assisted through this program receive so much more than just housing. They receive supportive services that help with finding jobs and career growth, accessing physical and mental health supports, re-unification with family, furthering education opportunities, and so much more. Best of all, they are brought into a community that shows both support and care and is there for them every step of the way.

Who lost everything when his family's apartment caught fire. Who never thought he'd face homelessness until factors outside of his control suddenly landed him, his wife, and their son on the streets. Kederick's family not only secured housing but he now works in the field of homelessness, helping others through his lived experience.

Veterans like Mitch, Tim, & Felipe:

All three are army veterans, all three were served by the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, they received healthcare navigation, and a myriad of partners collaborated to help with disabling conditions and surgeries.

All three Veterans were in our Housing Hub for Men shelter and they found a perfect housing solution for them by house-sharing through the support of a local landlord who agreed to let our agency try this new form of shared-living. It turned out to be a unique and effective solution for lowering costs and becoming self-sustaining. These kinds of individual and client-specific solutions are imperative to ensure long-term success.

Homelessness can happen to anyone. But we can offer hope.

Who we are and what we do:

The Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council (the Council) is passionate about preventing and ending homelessness on Florida’s Treasure Coast, and to assure that if homelessness happens, it is brief and non-recurring. We partner with over 60 organizations across Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties to provide services to families who are at risk of or are currently experiencing homelessness.

The Council is the lead agency in the Continuum of Care (CoC) for the served counties and has been a leading voice in solving homelessness in this region for 23 years. To learn more about our work, click HERE.

The Council provides a wide range of supportive services and housing solutions both through our own programs and via connecting clients to a myriad of partnering programs. This allows us to help families of all backgrounds find the exact solutions they need to find, and maintain, safe and affordable housing.
