For 30 years, we have served our community -- inspiring, encouraging, and supporting the young people in South Los Angeles to achieve social, emotional, and economic success.
At APCH, we provide a robust array of programming in the arts, wellness, and education including music, theater, visual arts, digital media, athletics, nutrition, tutoring, college preparation, job readiness, and so much more. We also provide counseling and case management services to our members and their families, and serve our surrounding community through distribution events throughout the year.
Here at APCH, we are changing lives. Take it from member Angel R. who, since joining APCH over a decade ago, has discovered her passion for music and is now pursuing a degree with an APCH scholarship through our partnership with the world-class conservatory program at the Berklee College of Music. Of her time at APCH, Angel reflects: “It felt like I was being taken seriously for the first time in my life. The motivation and the encouragement the staff showed me over the years helped me build my confidence and understand that my passions are something I should pursue.”
