Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: True Culture University's Journey of Progress

Dear True Culture University (TCU) Community,

As we stand on the cusp of a new year, it is with immense pride and gratitude that we reflect upon the transformative journey TCU has undertaken in the past year.

We are well on our way to establishing TCU as the preminement Pan-African Collegiate platform in Ethiopia and the World.

With chapters at Addis Ababa University, Bahir Dhar University, Debre Berhan University and Assosa University. With over 800 students within our current network and ambitions to be within every region of Ethiopia, we are focused on moving forward.

1. Chapter Expansion: Expanding to Assosa University We are thrilled to announce the expansion of True Culture University to Assosa University. This strategic move not only broadens our reach but also strengthens our commitment to providing quality education across diverse regions of Africa.

2. PORTAL: Bridging Education and Technology Our vision for a digitally connected educational experience took a giant leap forward with the initiation of PORTAL, our mobile app designed to empower students with seamless access to academic resources. The ongoing process of introducing PORTAL to our students marks a significant milestone in embracing cutting-edge technology for enhanced learning and our students have begun receving beta acess.

3. Black Paper Press: Elevating Research Excellence In our pursuit of academic excellence, we proudly launched Black Paper Press, our research press dedicated to showcasing the intellectual prowess of our student scholars. This platform serves as a testament to TCU's commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing valuable insights to the global academic community.

4. Center for Black AI Futures and Cyber Security Recognizing the pivotal role of technology in shaping the future, TCU inaugurated the Center for Black AI Futures and Cyber Security. This initiative underscores our dedication to preparing students for the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

5. Black Label Music Collective: Harmonizing Creativity TCU is not just about academics; it's about fostering creativity and artistic expression. With the launch of the Black Label Music Collective, we provide a platform for aspiring musicians to showcase their talents and contribute to the rich cultural tapestry of our Pan-African ideal.

6. Portal Labs: Catalyzing Software Development In a world driven by technology, TCU has ventured into software development services through Portal Labs. This platform equips our students with the skills and resources needed to thrive in the dynamic landscape of software development and real world earning potential.

7. Adoption of Nu Ethiopanism: Crafting Unity As part of our commitment to cultural enrichment, TCU has embraced Nu Ethiopanism, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Ethiopia. 8. UNIA Division President Joint Event with ASPA We were honored to welcome the UNIA President General at a joint event that the African Studies Proffessional Association coordinated. This collaboration allowed for the hsitoric welcome of the firsrt UNIA Presdidentto Ethiopia.

9. Global Player Fellowship: Nurturing Future Leaders at the African Union The announcement of the Global Player Fellowship is a testament to TCU's global outlook. This initiative opens doors for our students to actively participate in the African Union, fostering a new generation of leaders with a pan-African perspective.

10. Africa in the Africans Event: Our Addis Ababa Chapter hosted Mrs. Rebkah Atnafou Our Addis Ababa Chapter hosted the speaker that spoke on her life epceriences in the United States in the Diapsora and the improtance of embracing one's Black identity and having a strong sense of self in all your endeavors.

As we embark on another year of exploration and growth, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for your continued support.

We are seeking support in provding programing and means for expansiton this new year. We are looking to our global community of supporters to support TCU in our mission to develop black college students with the skills they need to suceed with a global mindset.
