Tin Drum Theatre Company's Winter Icebreaker: Thursday, January 23 from 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Buzzed by Zea Salon & Bar

Join us for an exciting night with friends, food, raffle prizes, and more, while supporting live local theatre in Chicago!

We have three ticket tiers for our 2025 Winter Icebreaker event:

Supporters: Supporter tickets cost $20 and include admission to the event, complimentary food, and access to the silent auction! Raffle tickets to the panoply of raffle items are available for purchase at the event.
Sponsors: Sponsor tickets cost $40 and grant admission to the event, complimentary food, access to the silent auction, and ten (10) free raffle tickets! Additional tickets for the vast array of raffle items are available for purchase at the event.
Super Sponsors: Super Sponsor tickets cost $60 and include admission to the event, complimentary food, access to the silent auction, fifteen (15) free raffle tickets, PLUS one gratis admission to the opening weekend of Incognito, by Nick Payne. Additional tickets for the eclectic assortment of raffle items are available for purchase at the event.

Note: All drinks must be purchased separately from the Buzzed by Zea bar. There is no open bar for this event.

As many of you may recall, and for those who may not know, Tin Drum Theatre Company, where dramatic disturbances are the norm, was founded in 2024 by Co-Artistic Directors Steve Needham and Jason Palmer. We made waves on the Chicago theatre scene with our world premiere of Steve Needham's debut play, Winter Garden. We are truly thankful to everyone who supported us and helped sell out the run of that show. We are excited to announce that, owing to the success of that production and the enthusiasm of our amazing audiences, we have decided to try and build on that success!

In 2025, with your support, Tin Drum Theatre Company plans to produce a FULL SEASON of shows:

The Chicago and regional premiere of Nick Payne's Incognito (directed by Jason Palmer) July 17 - August 3 at The Bramble Arts Loft
Issac's Eye, by Lucas Hnath (directed by Steve Needham) at The Bramble Arts Loft in early November
The world premiere of a new work by the redoubtable Steve Needham that bears the working title Desert Spaces (details TBD)

We are excited for this opportunity to get to know each other better, to talk about our efforts to help revitalize the post-pandemic Chicago theatre scene, and to convince you to come along for the ride!

Join us and learn more about our upcoming Tin Drum Theatre Company 2025 Season live and in person. We will have some exciting things on hand to share with you about our first production, Incognito, by Nick Payne. Have you ever wondered about how much rehearsal actors need to prepare for a show or about the director's process behind it? Are you curious about what goes into designing a set for a black-box theatre?
