**Support Tether Dance Project and propel Escapement forward!**

We’re Tether Dance Project, a San Francisco-based organization committed to uplifting early-career choreographers through bold, collaborative performance. After the success of our inaugural showcase Flux & Form, we will be producing Tether's first evening length production, Escapement, in July!

Our Mission

Tether Dance Project draws from dance as a vehicle for personal and collective storytelling and seek to celebrate diverse movement narratives. We aim to community-build and create mutual support for young and upcoming artists from all walks of life.

About Escapement

The 70-minute production will run July 10-12th, and will take place at the Joe Goode Annex. Escapement continues Tether Dance Project’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent by offering paid, professional opportunities. The program features a cast of 12 up-and-coming artists at the start of their professional journeys. We are proud to showcase their bold, fresh voices and share their artistry with you.

Where Your Donation Goes

We’re raising $5,000 to help cover:

Artist stipends & rehearsal space
Venue rental & production costs
Lighting, costumes, and tech
Accessibility features (need-based sliding-scale tickets for children, students, etc.)

No amount is too small, whether it’s $5 or $500, your support helps ensure these artists are seen, supported, and celebrated. We would not be able to support these artists and bring dance to the Bay Area community without the generous support of our donors.
