Since 2004, Teen HYPE has reached more than 35,000 Detroit-area youth with programming designed to help get them ready for the world.

Through our programs, youth acquire leadership skills, engage in healthy risk-taking, practice readiness abilities, and access sexual health services. Young people love coming to Teen HYPE because we have created a safe, welcoming, and youth-friendly environment. At Teen HYPE, we believe in honoring the voice of youth, cultivating critical thinking, encouraging creativity, exposing youth to an array of unique opportunities and experiences, and offering youth an extended support system of caring adults throughout their community.
