Why did I choose to run a marathon and raise funds for the Have Dreams organization?? The answer couldn't have be any simpler...my 6 yr old son Frankie!
3 yrs ago, Frankie was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). At the time it was scary earth shattering news, as the unknown can be. But after 3 years of watching him grow and develop, it became apparent that although he will undoubtedly have many challenges along the way, with a bit of help, he is capable of achieving anything he wishes to achieve.
Have dreams is a local organization whose mission is to help individuals with ASD learn, function independently, and socialize so that they may realize their full potential.
I am asking my friends and family to please assist by donating to this wonderful organization so they may continue to make an impact and help children like Frankie achieve their full potential!
