YOUR Support allows TF&C to:

Provide World-Class Childcare and FULL-DAY Summer Camp at a Fraction of The Cost.
- We believe that families in need should not have to decide between childcare and putting food on the table, that's why our registration fees are up to 30% lower than local, for-profit childcare organizations.
Provide Hope for Struggling Parents & Caregivers.
- Our mentors greet our kids and caregivers at the front door each morning and can speak directly with the parent/caregiver on the social, emotional and academic challenges their kid and family are facing THAT day and come up with a plan of care and immediately implement.
Make a Long-Term Investment in a Child and Their Family.
- A school counselor or teacher may only get to work alongside a kid for a year, but our TF&C mentor has the opportunity to work with the same kid and their family beginning at Kindergarten and helping them grow emotionally, academically and socially until they graduate 5th grade!

1. Individualized Care

Your child gets individualized care and attention with one of the lowest mentor-to-kid ratios in Maryland of one mentor for every five kids.

2. Closely Partner with Parents & Caregivers

Our goal is for our kids and caregivers to THRIVE. When you are a part of TF&C, you will have a team to work side-by-side with you to understand the daily challenges you and your kid are facing, then provide real-world best-parenting practices and techniques to help you and your child THRIVE. We practice these techniques while your kid is with us and you can take it home and reinforce. This in mind, we offer (at ZERO additional cost) "1-on-1 Mentor and Parenting Brainstorming Sessions" on a weekly basis, in addition to monthly "Caregiver Coffees" to provide both a trusted community of support and real-world parent training.

3. World Class Staff

We invest in our mentors so they can invest in you and your kids! Our aim is for you and your kid to have the same dedicated mentor your entire time at TF&C- whether that's months or years! We provide top-notch and continual training for our mentor on cutting-edge childcare, parenting and trauma-informed care. Finally, we are one of Maryland's most competitive before and after care organizations in both pay and benefits for our full-time childcare professionals.
