About The India Group (TIG)

TIG is a small, volunteer-run charity dedicated to helping the poorest, most marginalized families in India receive quality education and health care.

TIG began in 2012 with the goal of helping the most marginalized children and families receive quality education and health care. Operating on the principle of "do small things with great love," TIG has developed deep, personal relationships with the families we help.

Through the years, TIG has assisted in a wide range of education and health care needs, including:

Funding surgeries or prenatal care
Addressing alcoholism and providing support
Offering quality education and private tutoring

We are proud to share that our students' achievements have far exceeded our hopes: many have graduated high school and now are college- and work-bound!

While we all cheer for our favorite basketball teams this March, The India Group invites everyone to also celebrate our student's hard work and achievements. In the decade since we began, we are thrilled to share that our students are not only reaching their goals but are also applying to college! Their dedication, resilience, and hard work are paying off, and we need your help to keep their momentum going.
