We are a choral ensemble redefining what it means to make music together by gathering professional level singers and musicians from across the country to create intentional, collaborative, and borderless choral experiences. Rooted in artistic excellence and trust, we build a mobile musical community that transcends geography and reimagines how voices come together.

We’re gathering incredible vocalists from around the country as well as several talented Minneapolis locals to launch a one-of-a-kind choral ensemble, and we need your help to bring everyone together.

In July of 2026, we’re hosting the debut of our fly-in choral project, Tethered Voices.

We’re raising $10,000 to cover flights and lodging, as well as sheet music and accompanist compensation.

What Your Donation Supports

Lodging for Singers - Many of our musicians are early-career professionals traveling to participate. Your gift helps provide safe, shared accommodations in Minneapolis during the festival weekend.
Sheet Music & Musician Compensation

This includes

Licensing and purchasing scores for the ensemble
Fair compensation for our accompanist, who is integral to the rehearsal and performance process

Travel Reimbursement (If Funds Allow) - After covering essentials, remaining funds will help reduce the financial burden of flights or gas costs for singers traveling long distances.

Meet the Founders:

Jared Campbell

Jared is a professional choral singer based in Minneapolis, MN currently performing with VocalEssence Ensemble Singers, Minnesota Chorale, Wayzata Community Church, and now, Tethered Voices. He is thrilled to launch this new ensemble alongside some of my closest and most talented friends, bringing a fresh and collaborative energy to our shared love of choral music!

Mica Macaraeg

Mica Macaraeg is an aspiring professional choral singer based in Los Angeles, CA. She currently teaches elementary general music, choir, and is the director of two after school youth choral programs in the greater Los Angeles and San Bernardino area. She also enjoys singing with her Filipino-American ensemble, FilHarmoniCA, and now with the Pacific Chorale and Tethered Voices. She looks forward to launching this brand new ensemble with the incredible musicians around the country!

Ashlyn Frederick

Ashlyn is an early career choral singer living in Lancaster, PA. She spends her time performing with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra Chorus and her church choir at First Presbyterian Lancaster. She can also be found working at Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Expressive Avenue, and running her small hand embroidery business, Threads by Ashlyn.
