Reflecting on a Year of Impact: In 2023, thanks to your unwavering support, the New Haven Pride Center achieved remarkable milestones. Our hygiene wall, food pantry, and community closet served over 200 individuals monthly, with June and August witnessing the highest engagement. Your generosity enabled us to distribute over 1,000 full-sized personal hygiene products. Additionally, our food pantry consistently provided weekly food pickup to approximately 50 households. Our Case Management and Support Services program provided over 5,000 hours of support and assistance to community members and added 2 new affinity spaces.

Expanding Horizons in Youth Services: Last year marked a significant expansion in our Youth Services. We introduced "Real Talk!" workshops and welcomed 15 new mentors to our peer-support network. In 2024 we will be working closely with New Haven Public Schools, The New Haven LGBTQ+ Youth Task Force and The City of New Haven to build safety and a stronger sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ Youth in New Haven.

Looking Ahead to 2024: We're not stopping here! In 2024, we're poised to introduce group counseling, art, and drama therapy. Wellness programming for aging lgbtq+ individuals, expansion of our food pantry services, job training and fairs specifically for lgbtq+ individuals, expansion of our community teach-ins, training at least 15 more new mentors for our peer-support network, the start of our monthly community dinners and so much more.

A New Home, A Renewed Mission: A milestone achievement of 2023 was relocating to our new home at 50 Orange St. This beautiful space isn't just a location shift – it symbolizes our commitment to expanding services and reverting to our fundamental mission of being a vibrant community center.
