IT TAKES A VILLAGE!
It is even more clear today that our community has struggled in various ways to bring great work to the stages in our region. Our resilience does not mean we do not need your support. From increasing visibility to productions, leading crucial programs like the Barrymores and Philly Theatre Week, and being the region's "Theater Cheerleader", we are here for the Greater Philadelphia area's artists, theater producers and audiences alike!

Our New Home!

We are surrounded by many creative entities and artists at the Village of Industry and Art on Broad and Pine Streets, Center City, Philadelphia. With an office located on the Avenue of the Arts, our work continues!

Our Board is rebuilding!

We are in a cycle that allows for new voices to join our conversation. Over the summer, we have worked to rebuild our board and we applaud the folks who have stepped up to lead at this time. More About Us can be found here.

We cannot wait to celebrate the community at the 2026 Barrymore Awards!

We have reached into the community to bring a team of passionate, dedicated artists and volunteers for the Barrymore Awards on November 16, 2026 at Suzanne Roberts Theatre to honor and recognize a year of theater! We need your support to make this year's awards even better! Give a shoutout to the community! Click for Advertising at The Barrymore Awards
We continue to work with our Barrymore Oversight Committee to make the awards process more inclusive.

We’re preparing for the 2027 Philly Theatre Week - April 22 - May 2nd!

We are preparing for the 10th Annual Philly Theatre Week "Pay What You Can" ticketing model to create access and encourage audience members to try theater for the first time, or try a new company they’ve never attended before.

With more than 100 theaters and independent producers in our region, we’re excited to showcase all the ways in which theatre continues to thrive. We remain dedicated to the artists, audiences, and producers that make Philadelphia a world-renowned theatre destination.

Support our efforts and join us in the celebration of our vibrant Philly Theater Community!
