Founded by three dozen parents and educators, Two Rivers opened its doors to 150 students in 2004 as an EL Education school with a diverse student body. Twenty years later, the network serves over 1,000 students across two elementary schools and one middle school.
The mission remains the same as it did in our original charter school application: To nurture a diverse group of students to become lifelong, active participants in their own education, develop a sense of self and community, and become responsible and compassionate members of society.
Over the years, Two Rivers has earned numerous accolades as a high-performing, in-demand school. Our graduates attend their top-choice high schools and through our TRConnect program, they receive support to help ensure a strong transition.
The cost of a Two Rivers education exceeds what we receive from per pupil funding by $3,000 per student. Through the Two Rivers, Two Decades, and Beyond campaign, we seek to close this gap and fund the mission for years to come. Your support will fund exceptional out-of-classroom experiences such as field studies, overnight journeys, middle school musical, athletics, and 8th grade college tours. It will also support our signature community-building experiences such as community meetings, Latin Dance competition, Ms. Brenda's Day of Service, and more. Our goal is to raise $60,000 by December 31, 2024.
Thanks for your support of this campaign!
