Why It Matters

Many kids in our community have never owned a book of their own. We’ve distributed over 5,000 new books and hosted free reading events through our Communi-Tea Book Club.

What is the Communi-Tea Book Club?

The Communi-Tea Book Club is a citywide literacy initiative powered by Catch the Stars Foundation, Tea’s Me Café, and Indy Learning Team. It connects youth and families with free books, reading guides, and book-based community events—encouraging joyful reading and family engagement across Indianapolis. Book Club members can pick up new books every month at Tea's Me Community Cafe (3967 N. Illinois St).
