With the help of a giving and supportive community, Rosanna's family has started a non-profit organization in her loving memory. Rosanna's Readers and Legacy, Inc. is recognized as a non-profit organization in the State of Maine and we are recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS.

Our mission is to give a book to each child on their birthday in the two schools Rosanna taught at and at the school she went to as a child (Surry & Brooksville Elementary, and the Brooklin School). Rosanna loved and appreciated the Raising Readers program and wanted to see it continue on at the elementary school level. Thanks to some fantastic fundraising opportunities, we have increased the reach of the Rosanna's Readers program to also be in two new schools beginning this upcoming school year (Blue Hill Consolidated School and Sedgwick Elementary School). Our future goal is for the Rosanna's Readers program to be at every school on the Blue Hill Peninsula!
