Meet Taz. He’s a sweet pup who recently survived an unthinkable act of violence. With permission from Taz’s family, we can share his story: Taz and his owner were both stabbed during a domestic violence incident in DeWitt. While police made an arrest, Taz was left fighting for his life and needed emergency veterinary care to save him.

At Cuse Pit Crew, we believe pets are family—and during times of crisis, they deserve to stay with the people who love them most. That’s why we created our Keep Us Together program, which supports survivors of domestic violence and helps cover emergency veterinary care, pet food, and safe housing options so families don’t have to face the heartbreaking choice of giving up their pets.
